I was wondering the same myself the other day. I thought it might be ABS.

 

Intake for the Air Filter?

I would say the ABS pump, I had a CS and and there was no void really to the right!!

 

Thanks Paul, That figures,as my bike does not have ABS. Will have to utilise that for something.
