I took the battery out my bike today so I could get the airbox off and sort out a leaky hose. When I put it all back together and turned the ignition on it just showed "- - - - - -" where the milage is normally displayed. When I started rideing it began counting back up from zero again. Is there a simple way to get the old milage back? Also, what's likely to have caused this problem, I've never had it before when I've taken the battery off :?

Just an idea :think:
There are two counters on the speedo - total and trip - make sure you're not looking at the trip
Alternate with the push button

I tried that, both of them have been re-set to zero :?
