We hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and are getting ready for a cracking New Year.

To start 2015 with bang, Opie Oils are giving Free UK Mainland Shipping on all order over £35.

Some Scottish post codes and out of area deliveries are not included, however we have created the voucher code ISLANDS to reduce the delivery to these areas by £5 (order will need to be over £35).

Over the last few months we have been busy adding new brands and product lines. These aren't just oils either, you will be surprised to see what Opie Oils now stocks, you can see all our brands here > > > >

Happy New Year from us all at Opie Oils.

This is rubbish, Send by Royal Mail ,its the same anywhere in the uk. We in the North Isles are fed up with firms whinging about not sending to remote areas, or charging huge carriage bills. We now have a record of firms that do this and no longer deal with them.

Yes, it does cost the same as everywhere else with Royal Mail, but that is higher than what it costs everywhere else with the couriers that we use. (from what I can remember, about £7.50 for 5L of oil with the RM, £5 for the couriers). Also, when we tried to use the Royal Mail for decent sized orders (5L of oil or more), they lost/damaged so many parcels that with the cost of that, there was no saving overall and it worked out more expensive. Also, it only works out cheaper up to a point, from what I remember it's only cheaper up to about 8-10kg, after that couriers work out cheaper anyway.

Cheers

Tim
