The title pretty much says it. I want to find a place to connect to a USB adapter and the 12V line from my GPS.

I tried the tail light, but that didn't work. The amount of power was too low except when using the brake.

My current plan is to try to get power from the backside of the DIN outlet on the dash. That said, I am open to better ideas.

If you don't have heated grips there should be a spare socket that is there for them to plug in.
Other than that, pick up a feed from the tail light and use a relay to supply power to the accessories.

It turned out that the DIN didn't work, it is not switched. I ended up going to the low beam. I am glad I did as when I opened it I could that the insulation had cracked off the positive line there. It was an accident waiting to happen.

I fixed that and wired up a splitter. I will see how well I like that when I ride to work today.
