Have just handed my dissertation in and have this coming weekend free 27 and 28th march. Any one fancy a meet up and ride? thought i might explore the tracks up and around twmbarlwm, is kind of semi off road whilst still being legal! any takers?

Well, it finally came around. This last weekend three mates and I did the BMW offroad course in Wales. One of us had already done it twice, so he sauntered off into the top group and spent the weekend doing powerslides and all that stuff while the other three of us learnt the basics.
I was just wondering if anyone else off here was planning on attending the Red Marley Hill Climb held over the Easter weekend on 23rd and 24th March in 2008.

A couple of the BMW based bike clubs are running an event in Okehampton YHA In dartmoor (Camping and Bunkhouse)

Make sure you change you chain before it snaps! I did alot of damage to the bike on Thursday (broke a bit ot the engine casing, the pinion cap scorched the swingarm and shafted the chain guard)
So yesterday I removed the swing arm...had to force the pivot screw out..not good...
Well I spent a glorious weekend in the garage stripping the bike and doing an oil change, new filters, fettled the chain and spruced the bike up after some horrible winter riding over the past month. Lovely.
And then I tried to change the spark plug :scratch:
How the flip do you get to it...
Just keeping an eye on the Speedferries website, and they are doing bike crossings for 38 pounds return again at the moment. Anyone fancy an April/May long weekend in France and Belgium, probably staying at the bikers loft ?

Myself and a mate (Aprilia pegaso) are off for a spin over to Ireland from 7th july returning late 10th july. Setting out from London, we will take the ferry from Holyhead to Dublin then ride up to Donegal to enjoy a couple of spins round Glenveagh National park etc and to enjoy some good food...
