I'm about to order some Tourances for my Dakar, and it seems that for the rear, there's an option of radial or normal, with a difference in price of around a tenner.
Could somebody explain the difference for me?

Nobody on this site has mentioned Michelin Sirac tyres. they came as standard on my Dakar and I found them to provide excellent ride comfort, handling and grip in both wet and dry. However, they only last 5,000 miles on the rear and may 6,000 on the front (two sets now!).
