Hi all. Just joined up today after buying a 2006 F650 GS yesterday. It LOOKS to be in good nick but time will tell over the next few days/miles I guess.
The king is dead, long live the king:
I actually got this one to replace my old F650GS that was stolen a few months back. My last one had bags...
Like it says above - just spent the day tinkering, replaced all the exhaust gaskets and is no longer blowing!
Checked the valves and they were all out of spec adjusted them, rebuilt checked after cranking for a good while and all was in spec and rode to work, noticed at the lights that i know...
I have had bikes for years but am new to the world of BMW.
I recently bought a '94 Funduro to ride through the winter while my other toy is asleep in the grarge.

Any clues would be gratefully received.
Definitely a good deal.
Anyone else out there got the latest issue of RIDE mag? It's in there, page 17.
If, like me, you haven't got hard luggage & would prefer soft, but have trouble with the issue of the rear pipes, check this out.
I'd been searching for ages, and apart from having to...
Imagine the excitement - D-day had arrived and the GS was off to BMW for a pair of genuine BMW panniers and a Remus exhaust - laaaavli!!! :-D
Even having confirmed at ordering that the two were compatible (i.e. the panniers and the noisy exhaust) it turned out they...
