Having just bought a BMW F650cs I am now looking for the set of soft luggage for this bike. It is the 2 piece set of tail pack and pillion pack which attach together on the bike. I think the F650gs set also fits.
If anyone has a set that they would like to sell please contact me on 07825 305307...
I'm looking at buying some soft panniers for my Dakar, can anybody point me in the direction of some good ones?
Must be a reasonable size, waterproof and easliy detachable as I will be mounting them up for a trip to Morocco next March.
Does anyone have experience of throw-over panniers for an 04 twin-spark gs please? I'm trying to get away without fitting side racks at all.
I've looked at Oxfords and HG, but they look as if they'd cook on the high exhausts.
Has anyone used soft luggage/panniers on the F650GS?
For the amount that I use panniers I am reluctant to get a new mortgage to pay for hard panniers but I wondered if soft luggage might get too hot next to the silencer.
Second query............can you get away with 30mm handlebar risers...
I need a set of Panniers for a 2006 650GS - just for occasional use.
Trying to keep the costs down - just 'cause they are for infrequent use with a pillion and top box (when I am on my own a tail pack will do fine!) -but don't want the things bursting into flames either!
So soft panniers will...
Anyone found a good set up/product for soft luggage on the back of a GS.
(standard '01 tail piece-no rack). One that doesn't scuff the bike or get burnt.
Read an article last night on what bikes could carry...and Christmas is coming. Got me thinking.
Read JB's ventura thread..but didn't want...
OK, I'm new here so be gentle with me!
I know this subject has been mentioned before, but has anyone used the BetaSoftBag mentioned in this thread ... http://www.f650.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=906 on an F650GS?
The BMW panniers weem a bit steep for a weeks holiday!
Thanks in advance :howdy:
has anyone got any experiences of soft panniers ?
i would like to get the expandable ones to go to europe etc
worried about the fit thing
oxford seem quite good and reasonably priced
I am shortly due to take delivery of a Dakar and needs some panniers, unfortunately I cannot afford to put the BWM hard ones on immediatley and wondered if anyone new if there are any soft panniers that will fit, ie. Oxford etc.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
