The electrical cable that leads up to the ABS switch on the handlebars has snapped (looks like the tip needs to be soldered back).
Is this hazardous and does it need to be looked at urgently? Or can I wait until the next trip to the garage? I never use the abs switch anyway.
my speedo cable has snapped inside speedo drive (front wheel) tried to get the square end out of drive,but it will not come out.if i take the wheel off would i be able to get inside the drive to push broken cable out. or has anyone got any ideas many thanks russell

I have had 2 chains snap on me in 12 months. I regulary lubricate my chain and keep it adjusted within the 20-30mm bracket. I have only covered 8000miles on the two chains. anyone had any similar experiences or have any ideas as to why this happens. I have a 97 ST
.......at just under 18k mile pulling onto a motorway!!! P*ssed off?? Not half!!!!! Its going into a dealer tomorrow and god help them if they blame wear and tear, its meant to last to at least 24k when its due to be swapped at a service!!!!!!!
