    Hi Well I am down to the main shaft drive sprocket... The Clymer Manual says to put a 'soft washer' between the main sprocket and the sprocket of the clutch basket.... then take the nut off... Agghhhh.. is this the only way? Really worried about damaging the main sprocket or clutch...

    Hi Can anyone help My troublesome F650CS has an oil leak from the clutch operating shaft as it enters from top of crank case. Seal has been replaced but no improvement, garage are now suggesting replacing clutch operating shaft. Any advice would be much appreciated. Dr Oxford

    Can anyone tell me if the clutch actuation shaft seal on a Funduro is easy to replace? Is it just a matter of taking the clutch arm off, pulling the old seal out, and popping the new one in? Or is there more to it than that?

    What is it about other BMW owners and this fixation with Shaft drive ? If its not shaft drive its not a proper BMW they say. We have two shaft drive BMW's in our household an 1100GS (90,000miles) and a K1200LT(40,000). The GS is now on its 3rd Final Drive Main Bearing and the LT has just failed...
