I have two used drive belts for F650CS Scarver in very good condition (mileage unknown):
1x p/n 27 72 7 659 995 for up to 03
1x p/n 27 72 7 682 887 for 04 onwards
These were spares I accumulated for my Scarver, which has now, unfortunately, been written off.:(
£80 each belt posted to UK.
I bought a 2004 Scarver as a commuter bike - brilliant!!! Handles like a 250 but easily pulls to 90 mph, sorry, 70 mph!
BUT, I just had a catastrophic failure of the rear belt sprocket. Close examination shows it was worn out.
So, I need a rear sprocket and a front sprocket. The belt...

I considering selling my 2004 Scarver. It's a twin spark fuel injected model with approx 35k on the clock.
All works as it should with a long MOT until September 2013.
Has lots of receipts and old MOT certificates.
I am selling because I want something more suited to 2 up...
After toying around with the idea of motorcycling, I finally took the leap and got myself a provisional license. While looking for a bike, I've discovered a F650 CS Scarver in a shop I really like. I went with a friend who knows a bit about motorcycles and he said that from looking...
A 2002 F650 CS which I rather like. I should apologise for a long post!
I have been having some problems with my speedo in that it was hardly working. I think I mentioned it here before. I finally replaced my rear hub with yet another set of bearings and built it up and since I was happy with...
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get more top end from my F650CS Scarver?
I need a new tyre and was thinking of fitting 160/70, does anyone know if it will fit. It's fairly close to the swing arm with current, worn, 160/60.
Any options to change belt/sprockets?
My sister-in-law bought a Scarver in 2006, she rode it for 250km then decided she was too nervous to use it. It's done 900km altogether, mostly with me riding it back and forth to places where she could practice safely. It's been sitting on her garden path since 2007, with the engine not even...
I have a weird electrical fault going on for the last two days and would like to ask if anybody has a had a similiar problem
I can't turn my scarver off by using the key I have to use the cut out or side stand but this is not all the time and when I can use the key after all the lights on...

Hi, just bought an 04 Scarver as a run around, also have a Rocket 3 and a Ducati 748, it has a worn out 150 tyre on the rear, an option to lower it I believe, I know the standard fit is a 160 but can I go wider? 120/180 pairs are good value has anybody done this?
Got a Scarver with very useful lockable stuff box but need map pouch for touring. Anyone ever seen the like? Obviously cannot be magnetic! Would rather not lose the lockable box but will if that is the only way.
I needed to remove the rear wheel on my CS, but I've not got a centre stand, or the £145 BMW service tool. So.. after a bit of thought, I came up with the following solution:
1. Purchase a 12mm round length of steel
2. Feed the steel through the two centre stand fixing points
I was just looking at the historical version of the site from Trevor's days of looking after it, and I had a look at the owners page. I wonder how many of these people still own their/a Scarvers...
Barry Merchant - I know he went to a big BMW and back again, not sure where you are...
Well, as my licence restriction ended a month ago, I thought it was time to derestrict my bike - 2004 F650CS.
I forgot to take photos at the time, but threw together this image to show roughly how the restriction works:
The (green) throttle cable passes through a bracket held on by...
