Howsabout us Softy Southern types starting off 2007 with a wee gathering at our usual watering hole.....
Teas are on me as it's nearly my birfday :-D
Rideout if required, suitable for whatever conditions are like.
Newlands Corner from 10am.
Tea & a chat before a wee ride to the Cider place as recommended.
Bring a clean container to carry your cider home. Size of container determined by carrying space available. I may have to dig out the 38 litre Metal Mules :-D
Checked the diary no dates of note. Anyone for a meet at newlands corner on the 19th, 10am. Cup of tea and ride out exploring more of those quaint little villages in the south of england.?
Any further suggestions welcome.
On the grounds that most holidays of the Summer variety have been & gone I shall suggest a meeting for September.
10am at Newlands Corner
Sunday 17 September 2006
Free tea & a mystery tour to follow.
"Lets be havin' you" :riding:
Well since no one else has popped up to propose a meet in August, how about the 13th?
Am guessing holiday silly season may get in the way, but has to be worth a try.
Say 10.30 at Newlands again. Teas on me.
In the absence of the hairy highlander (The wilbur) who is off in God's country.
I have voluntered to arrange the next meeting.
I've checked the calender and can see no obvious reasons for the buying of cards and chocolates on the 16th so therefore it looks a good un!.
Newlands Corner 10am...
As requested by our new friend, Biker Chic, our next meeting shall be on a Sunday.
Newlands Corner for ease of meeting...1030 meet for a 12 noon ride...should leave enough time for late comers and general chat
I will endeavour to to find a suitable Cream Tea to aim for :-D
New meeting place this time, to be fair to our SE London & Kent chaps (not sexist but...are there any female riders out there willing to come out & meet us?)
1030 am at Oakdene Cafe on London Road/A20 just off J2A of the M26 south of Wrotham.
I have a lovely little ride ending with a Cream...
