I am concerned with the amount of play that my throttle grip has on my 2000 GS.

This had factory hot grips which had worn the rubber out so I stripped the rubber and element wire off...

I have replaced the needle bearing and bush in the lower shock mount but when all bolted up there is still a bit of up and down play in the bearing, any ideas, would this small amount of play fail impending MOT.

I recently found play in the monoshock link arm bushes/bearings. It was only noticable when bike was on centre stand and rear wheel spindle was being tightened. All link arm bushes/bearings have now been changed, not cheap, but a small amount of play remains. Is this common?
