    Guys, Am I right in thinking, with the wheel in situ on the GS, it's only the inner pad wear indicators that are visible (and thats from the front through the spokes). Thanks R/tax

    All the friction material came off one of my rear brake pads today. It had been in for nearly 2 years and done 20000 miles but there was plenty of meat (5mm or so) left on it. It was an EBC kevlar pad. Has anyone else experienced this? What can cause it to happen?

    Some time ago there was a thread on here that someone could not get a replacement pad retaining pin for the rear brake and the said pin had broken. For information a kit is now available under the BMW part number 34 21 651 955 You get a new pin, circlip, and two clips for ?5.09p + VAT Regards...

    I was going to change the brake pads on my bike, and while I was at it replace the keeper pins and circlips. Does anyone know where I can get replacement pins without buying a complete calliper repair kit ? (motorworks)
