been off roadin and been getting alot of ****e between the guard and the wheel. is it possible to fit a higher mudguard? Also does the bracket that is fitted for the standard mudguard also act as a fork brace?:not worthy:

Does anyone know of an alternative to the Touratech front mudguard for a 2004 Dakar? I like the like of the Touratech version but wondered if there were any alternatives before I make a descision.

Has anyone tried to fit the Touratech fork-guards to a bike which also has their low mudguard? It dont go ! well not on my Dakar anyway and the instructions are all in German. I will contact them for advice on Monday - unless anyone on this forum has an answer. Thanks all Colin :wall:

Does anyone know where I can get an extended front mudguard for the GS/Dakar. Not the kind that fits over the front tyre but rather the extension that fits on the original front mudguard. I've tried Wunderlich and Touratech but neither do this. I wondered if it's an original BMW part? :uhoh:

I took my first spin on the motorway today and kept hearing / sensing a strange vibrating over 70....pretty sure it was coming from the back end of the touratech front hugger recently fitted? anyone else have this problem or any suggestions? the hugger is tight on etc ..butdoes have some flex in...
