I'm thinking of going to the TT races next year but I've never been before. Does anyone know when is the best time to go, tips for getting there etc? Any comments would be welcome.
Thanks in advance!
I got some visor cleaner, some anti fog spray, some cleaning brushes, an inspection lamp and a halogen lamp for working on the bike in the evenings.
I also got some other stuff but they are nothing to do with the bike so they're not important
Just getting this off my chest! On my way home today doing a couple of miles an hour over 30mph in a 30 limit I was aware of a white van a little close for comfort behind me. After half a mile or so he decides to "overtake" me (or should it be plough through me?) despite the fact that there was...

Last year the Donkey Sanctuary (AKA the Isle of Man Dept of Transport) decided it would be a good idea to increase road tax by 5% (they said that was inflation, which is a load of dog's doo-dah's) PLUS a ?5 charge on each vehicle for 'Road Safety Campaigns'. They then proceeded to issue a...
Next year the TT will be celebrating 100 years, and many thousands of visitors will be coming that don't normally. Advice therefore is that if you think you will be coming, book the travel and accommodation now. An Australian bike club is already advertising in the local press...
The Dept of Transport here (also known as The Donkey Sanctuary - with apologies to the invariably more intelligent baying quadropeds on this Earth) have decided it would be a good idea to charge all motorists an extra ?5 road tax per vehicle for Quote " Road Safety Improvements". :-(...

I bought another (unmentionable make) bike at the BMF show in Peterborough.
Innocently I phoned the Steam Racket Legalised Robbery Ferry Company.
I said 'presumably I can buy a return ticket for motorcycle and rider, and go to Liverpool as a pedestrian and bring my bike back the other way'...
