I am considering whether to add either daytime running lights which are always on when the headlight is on, or some more powerful switchable spotlights. Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the 2006 F650 GS so that I can assess how much work is involved for each solution?
Hopefully you can help me out solve the issue with my F650 GS 2002 signal indicators.
Had an accident couple of weeks ago; killed both left signal indicators (besides several paint scratches). Although not wearing proper protective pants, main injury remained limited to: 2 stitches in knee...
After now riding the bike in the dark for a few weeks I need to upgrade the frankly abysmal headlight  .
Its not dim as I have one of the Halfrauds Extreme Brilliance bulbs in there, its the fact the beam pattern puts very little light where it should be, on the road and yes it is...
After leaving work last night (in the Rain) the lights on my Dakar packed in.
I have Indicators ,brake light,hi beam flash.:big grin:
I don't have low beam & taillight .:dunno:
I have had a look on the Chain gang site and searched here also.
Today Checked the fuses and the battery...
Bored with my questions yet?
Land Rover owner you see... Just can't help modifying \ ruining a perfectly good machine!
Anyway; Onto my question: Plenty of those ChainGang bods have been fitting expensive spots, but I've been thinking of getting one of those £25 mini Ring sets of spot / fog...
Me again! ( can you tell that i'm bored at work ??! )
My left light on the dash has gone (ie blown, not grown legs and run away)
How can I open the dash up to install another light. It's annoying as I can't see the revs in these dark evenings.
