Hi, I have a 1998 Funduro which came with heated grips, i can only assume that these are the original heated grips that came with the bike, as the grips match a lot of BMW grips i have seen around.. the point is the grips are not very warm at all, (compared to my dad's oxford hot hands)...

I've recently changed from a 2002 CS to a 2003 GS. Both have the BMW standard heated grips, but the GS grips heat up incredibly slowly and also to a much lower temperature. Does anybody know what the issue is and how to correct it? :dunno:

Just recently my bikes (02 plate F650GS) heated grips have developed an intermitant fault with the heating function on both settings - i.e some times they just don't heat up at all. Is this a common fault with a tried and tested fix? Thanks in advance :thumb:
