Im having my fork seals replaced under warranty and its been recommended that I get some gaiters fitted. Are they worth it? Do they really block some air flow to the radiator? Also do BMW make these or do I have to get them from elsewhere? Ive seen some in the Motorworks catalogue but im not...

Bought a set of fork gaiters and a decent file! Surely there is a far simpler way of fitting these bits of rubber then filing down the fork brace, so it gives you enough clearance to fit the gaiters and clips between the fork brace and fork. As for buying a replacement fork brace....Forget it...

Hi  knowing nothing about bikes really - I have recently purchased the front fork rubber gaiters and being somewhat green - was thinking of dropping the forks out of the bike and taking them to a garage to have the work done. Has anyone done similar themselves or are most of you all...

Proline were more than happy to make them with a velcro fastening to facilitate easy fitting and removal. I had them made 280 x 60 mm...

I hvae bought a set of gaiter for my F650 funduro as I don't want to be spending money fixing the seals or forks from winter grit. However, I have no idea how to fit them on. I am fairly good at putting things together, so was looking at fitting them myself. Does anyone know of a website, or...

Sorry if this is an old crusty question, I have just got my F so I don't know. I will be doing fork seals soon, and presumably therefore head bearings as well. Fork gaiters seem logical to me, living on the sea front and all. I could grease the forks and save them from corroding, inside...
