    Noticed my nearside fork has a slight oily section,i cleaned it off and it reappeared after a short ride. ive had enough of DIY bike repairs and ive been quoted £75 to have the seals done at a local bike place is this a good price? will they use the correct parts or is it universal seals?

    At slow speeds my dakar is starting to feel as if the front tyre is stuck in a tramline. I've tried the fork test, moving the wheel from lock to lock with it on the stand with the wheel off the floor and can feel no stiff spots. Is this a bearing problem? If it is, how easy are they to replace...

    Just doing the fork seals and noticed that there was quite alot of play between the stantion and bottom leg when the seal was removed. the stantion can be moved from side to side. Should it be a very "close" sliding fit? :riding:

    may i ask is this a easy job to do? do i need any special tools. what grade oil should i use to stiffen up the front. it does seem to sag a bit when i sit down on the bike. funduro 95.
