Had a blow out in my back tyre and had to drive the next 160kms with my back tyre packed with clothes and at 10kms an hour, I was feathering the clutch a lot.

Recently, my rev counter on my 2003 GS has stopped working.
I stripped off the fairing andfound two blown bulbs which would normally illuminate the rev counter.
Will replacing these bulbs solve my problem or do I need to look further.
Could someone please advise on location of earth...
Hi, my F650 GS GD 2003 has developed an error. The Rev counter reading is about 2000-3000 revs too high. The Rev counter has a mind of its own.
- Typically when cold the rev counter reading will be normal for the 1st 3mins of riding but after that will become inconsistent.
Would appreciate your oppinion on something.
I was just out for a blast on my bike and while accelerating in 3rd gear she suddenly lost power.
When I looked at the rev counter it was in the red so I assumed I must have hit the limiter even though I wasnt accellerating hard.
I recharged my battery and when I reconnected it the rev counter started to tick like a clock and the needle ‘twitches’ even with the keys out of the ignition.
I have seen another post on here with the same problem but there was not a solution apart from replace the instrument unit...
Riding home the other day and my rev counter went mad - the needle flicking up and down like it had a mind of it's own. Then I lost power - temporarily - with the engine failing to rev. This now happens all the time after I have been riding for about 20 minutes.
