I need a new sleeping bag but I don't want to waste money. What I need is a bag that folds down small (on the bike) and is 2-3 season. Also, will a bivvy bag or liner be enough should I need something for the really cold nights (like now) or should I buy a serious 4-seaeson bag?

Looking for possible ways of carrying mobile phone without the need for a tank bag I saw the Lenkerboy handle bar bag on the Wunderlich, site has anyone any experience of this product? is it worth the money? All comments welcome Tim

With the tank on a F650gs being plastic, most of the universal ones dont attach as they are magnetic. The Touratech & BMW ones are quite expensive. Any ideas who makes a good one for it at a resonable price? Im watching one on ebay that fits a k1100 bmw. Would this fit with some modifications?

I'm thinking of buying a tank bag for my 04 650GS. I would appreciate any information/recommendations on size, practicality, price, restrictiveness of handlebar movement, waterproofness (if there's such a word) etc. Which one have you got?

Browsing through the Hein Gericke catalogue (ok I admit it, I was on the loo) I noticed they do a 'Strap Tankbag' for ?25. Has anyone got one of these? Or does anyone know if they fit the GS? From the picture it looks like it attaches via tensioned straps which hook on to the bike. Hmmmmmm...

got bmw panniers ? need inner bags? try poundstretcher shops, BLACK FLIGHT BAGS only ?3 each , and almost a perfect fit. cheers , swifty

Advice needed - I've ordered a Touratech 25 litre tank bag for my F650GS - BUT I saw the hardcase BMW 13 litre one yesterday which seems ample big enough and really good quality - I think I'll cancel the Touratech one and get the BMW one instead - I also think BMW do a 'convert into rucksack...
