BIKE IS NOW SOLD
I considering selling my 2004 Scarver. It's a twin spark fuel injected model with approx 35k on the clock.
All works as it should with a long MOT until September 2013.
Has lots of receipts and old MOT certificates.
I am selling because I want something more suited to 2 up...
I've been trying in vain to get a decent exhaust for my 650cs, but not at any cost.
The answer my be with a company called Zorstec ( check out their site ). I've negotiated a new end can and connector ( keeping J pipe ) for £120.
But they need a bike to take measurements from.
Has anyone had any experience with a company called GPR and their slip on exhausts?
They have an ad on ebay for a handsome looking slip on with all the additional pipes and fixings required for circa £190 + p+p from Italy.
Its the one thing I'm really not keen on with the cs, not only...
Have just acquired a 2005-- 650CS.

I bought my 650CS (ABS & heated grips) in July 2002. I did a 1000 miles in the time up to July 2004 at which time I had an oil service done. I have not used the bike since. I got a new battery fitted last week & got the MOT done.
I spoke to a BMW Dealer -they suggested an oil change...
Okay, need some advice please.
The tax disc holder on my 650CS is currently mounted on the frame tube running down in front of the engine, so it gets a lot of spray from the front wheel and consequently the water eventually gets into the holder and the paper disc falls apart. I've looked for...
Just returned from the MCN show at the Ally Pally and had a good look at the new FS800 and I think that the old 650CS is a much better bike - or am I being biased here. I don't really like the look of the FS800 and think that the 650CS is a much more practical bike - ie storage at the front...
Wondered what type of engine oil is most commonly purchased by Scarver owners. Been down to Halfords but couldn't decide on what oil to purchase. I see that a semi-synthetic oil is recommended in the owners manual.
Any comments on this would be appreciated.
I,m also planning a run down to...
two questions. first, my 650cs has a set of Metzlers on it. the bike has done 6500miles and there is still some life in both but I guess not for too long. Can anyione give me an idea of how much a new set will cost fitted. My second question is about exhausts. I bought my CS asecond hand. it had...
I recently bought a secondhand 650CS and the 6000 mile service interval fast approaches. I would be very grateful if anyone can recommend a reliable and reasonable servicing outlet that won't cost me ?????????'s
