Dear all, I've owned my GS for almost a year now. As such, it's time for the annual service. It's also got 5,000 on the clock. I doubt I'll do 1,000 miles this month! So what's the difference between the two?

Do you need new pulleys to go with a replacement belt? BMW Berlin say you do, without checking. But then, the front costs €470 and the rear €140... Close to €1,000 simply for a belt change... Of course, they would say that if they were more concerned with how much they could earn off of you...
