    Hi im thinking of buying a BMW patch and on it it says BMW, GSA ADV, im sure the GS stands for galonda strata but what about the other letters any thoughts
    i dont know where im going but i will when i get there

    GS actually stands for "Geländerstraße" which translates to "off-road" or more literally as "country way". The ä may also be be written as "ae" in German, signifies how the vowel should be pronounced and the ß is simply double-s. So, "Geländerstraße" is pronounced "Gelenderstrasse". Here endeth your German lesson!
