I normally use a 1 L (1000 cc) measuring jug and put exactly two lots of 1 L in followed by 300 cc

Plastic bag in a measuring jug that can measure 300c/.3Ltr, pour to line, put measured amount into engine, discard plastic bag, put measuring jug back into wife's cupboard

In my experience, it doesn't need to be measured out super accurately with +/- 50 cc or so being sufficient initially. After a long run, oil can then be added to achieve a level on the dipstick about hallway between the MIN and MAX marks. In the case of my F650GS, it took about 2.4 L in total to achieve this which is why it is not worth being that accurate initially using the measuring jug.

Look on the side of the container the oil came in, if it’s in 1ltr container they’re usually marked in 100cc increments.
