Hi,

I am looking for any users who might have some ideas as to where I might be able to get another pair of plastic tanks bars, plus the other parts near the headlight too, sas they are all cracked and would bring the bike back to life with new ones?

I have done a little research into having a set cast, but there must be someone who has a set that they no longer need or could put me in touch with a place I could get them?

Thoughts and ideas please?

Many thanks

Hi there, I have just picked up a scarver today. I have noticed that the handles on mine are starting to crack. I am in the fortunate position of having a friend who runs a small foundry that specialises in casting decorative items (just now he is making a hippo in bronze ) so when I next see him I will ask how much they would cost to produce and would be be prepared to do some.

Hi all , I spoke to my mate Chris last night about the tank handles and he says yes he can make them . So if anyone has an old set or two to use to make moulds that would be great, unfortunately these would be lost during the manufacture of the alloy ones so no good ones from your bike. Also someone asked about the screen mountings and these are even easier to make,so I will use my undamaged ones to get alloy ones made during the winter. Meant to say the tank handles need to be cut in two and extended to allow for allow for shrinkage when they cool so they have to be made slightly longer when being cast and thats why old ones are needed.
If you have parts needed please pm me

Hi everyone. I spoke to Chris my mate yesterday about getting rails and screen brackets made. They will be made from aluminium and the cost will be unpolished £60 a pair and polished £80 a pair.
As for the screen brackets for some reason he never got round to telling me how much so will let you know how much asap.
All I need now are old brackets to start the process moving
Cheers Dave

Hi there everyone. Sorry about not doing anything about the rails etc but I have been in hospital. I will arrange a date with Chris to get them made and use my parts as a pattern. If people could list their names so I know how many want rails and screen brackets need to be made

Hi all, I spoke to my friend again about the tank bars and screen bracket. What I am going to do is use my parts to get the molds made. I will be doing this after I lay my bike up at the end of October.
Hi wilber could you make a stickie of this so I can get names and quantities of each needed
Cheers Dave
