    Default F650CS Headlight

I have a 2004 F650Cs. The headlight is not very bright. Could anyone please give me any advice as to whether it can be improved by fitting different bulbs.

easiest upgrade is to fit better bulbs - not higher wattage rated rated just better quality halogen cool white light
F650CS is H1 for the highbeam and H3 for the main / lowbeam from your local auto store - may have to buy twinpacks for best price and have a spare
I fitted these to mine and its better for not much $ but still not wow awesome lights

that XENON bulb linked in above post looks like worth a try too i will see if i can find one of them local to test out

the lighting circuit in the bike has no relay for the lights just the handlebar switch which have been known to give issues
If you up the wattage or power draw then new large wiring direct from the battery and switched by a relay is highly recommended

part of the problem seems to be the reflectors and small lamp shell size
