Welcome. I was 49 when I did my DAS. Got a cheep Funduro which even now only has 14,000 miles on the clock. Love riding the bike (just for fun) but my missus hates me going out on it therefore I don't ride as much as I would like. Even so I am thinking of trading up in the not too distant future. Newer 650 or even a 1200.....who knows.

Hmmm, I've had a 20 year midlife crisis since the age 19 then
So what do I do for my 40th later this year, if I have already had my crisis ?

Welcome to the forum Sir, you'll fit right in. Its a lovely looking specimen of a bike too!

There is a slight hold up to my plans, I am unable to take my CBT or theory tests as I need to produce both parts of my driving licence and I had to send the off to Swansea to have the photo changed.Copies of the licence or my HGV digital driver card are not acceptable as proof I hold a driving licence.

Thanks again chaps.

hi Tony the bike is an ex Police bike and the back end is now an empty lockable box, there is evidence of wiring being entered from underneath so I assume the electric gismoes involved with sirens, flashing beakons and perhaps comunication equipment were kept in there but can't say for sure.
As for price were you refering to the complete bike or just this rear box?

Default Nice bike...

Hiya

Was wondering about the bike... I will be in the market to upgrade next year and keeping an eye on where people pick up good deals and nice bikes from... and that looks like one...

Many thanks, Tony.

Licence back today with the bonus of it now being clean , CBT booked for next Saturday with theory on the 10th Aug. Now I just need to figure out how to tell the wife I've bought a bike, when I broached the subject during the week ''over my dead body'' was her reply
