Wanted: Pannier / FramesWanted

Just aquired a Funduro and would like a set of panniers and or pannier frames.

Or even borrow/see a set of frames to make a pattern from.

Or even to know where they are mounted.

Any helps please.

There is a set of K series City Panniers for sale on the BMW Club website. I think the price was £90. I understand they fit on the F650 Funduro/Strada.

From memory mine mount in somewhere close to the luggage rack - and are heavily rust welded and bolts rounded into place! The other end mounts as part of the pillion footpegs.

The panniers then clip over the top of the rail and lock onto a rectangular piece of thinner metal which has a tendancy to break and require welding!

Tell you what i'm bored with writing my dissertation - I shall go take a pic or two for you!

I have a couple of sets of K plastic ones spare.

I WAS going to adapt and mount so I could use my K city cases on the R and the F but I have now fitted a Givi set on the R (thanks to Ebay!) as the BMW boxes were magga bucks and I had Givis cheap! Its a bit WIDE though! No filtering!

Mate is cloning his Givi rails for the F so these K plastic ones are for grabs. Pers. email me if you want them to mod?

I would still like to borrow a set of the metal Z rails for the F650 to use as a pattern and get a batch made.

Thanks for the offer, just waiting on someone getting back to me about a complete set (not sure of the make), was thinking I would like the K city cases though. What price were you thinking? John

Sorry for the missunderstanding but the cases are not for grabs.
They are really part of my beloved K.
Let me know if you want any K rails though.
